Media Appreciation 3: Media of the Future

1. I think something that we will see in the future is going to be example an xbox that is wireless and will allow you to play it anywhere. There won't be a fuss with a million wires and not knowing which goes where, or worrying that you lost one.

2. By having a product like this created, people will find it more convenient to bring around and just in general to have. By having a game with zero wires, it makes it more portable for everyone and it will convine people to bring it anywhere. Also, people won't worry about losing a wire or forgetting one while bringing it around.

3. This product would have a good impact on people. Everyone will realize how easy it is to bring games around. They won't dread having to bring wires and consoles and manets everywhere. People will be a lot more worry-free because they would have to panic about losing a wire or forgetting one somewhere.

Buffalo Bill

1. Reality and entertainment became blurred for Buffalo Bill once he became famous. His family was not a priority to him anymore. Everything that was fake seemed like reality to him.

2. Buffalo Bill was one of the first "real" celebrities. Before him, there's wasn't anyone really like him.

3. With new media, Buffalo Bill would have benefitted greatly. He would definitely have been known more. With cellphones, computers, internet, etc the word passes along a lot faster and therefore Buffalo Bill would be a much bigger celebrity than he was before.

Media Appreciation: Videogaming

1. Video games become very addictive to people of any age. As for myself, I do not enjoy playing them but I do see it in my brother that he loves to play video games. I think it becomes very addictive because it's like your own little world. You're playing that game and no one is bothering you. You aren't thinking about anything else except beating the game and all your worries go away. It's like an escape from the real world.

2. Many talk about how video games have developed so much over the years. Video games today are so advanced, they almost seem realistic. The graphics have developed immensely conpared to the games just 10 years ago. I think that as these games continue being created, people get so addicted they don't think about anything else. Also, these games are being compared to things happening in real life. By playing these games, I'm sure people get crazy ideas.

3. I think people are getting too addicted to these video games and it is having a very bad impact on our culture. As an example; young boys today are so hooked on playing on these games, they forget about everything else. They don't bother to call their friends, or even play outside anymore, they're constantly on the tv 24 hours a day and completely let themselves go. Since this is happening now, it will definitely comtinue happening and will probably become worse.
